Moving Forward

Greetings from Hobart! For a year we have been quietly contemplating a move from Tasmania to the mainland, and Sydney was our primary target. We felt the need to be in a place where we could have increasing influence to train disciple trainers and accelerate the movement. This move would come after living and serving in Tasmania for 17 years--almost exactly one-third of our lifespan--and would naturally be a very hard thing do to.

Well the Lord works in mysterious ways, and it turns out we are NOT going to Sydney...instead, we have received an invitation to London. This move, approved just a few days ago, will be effective mid-May which means we have precious little time to pack and prepare for a trip halfway round the world. London is a city of 8 million people, giving us a great sphere of influence, but it also providing access to the primary population centers of Europe. I have led 4 training events in Europe in the past 6 months (and 2 more planned in the next 2 months), plus I'm coaching numerous people there via Skype, so this will enable me to do so much more to help gain momentum for the T4T/AIM movement there.

Our transition does not mean we will abandon anyone--quite the contrary. We are committed to the work in Australia and will be coaching workers via Skype and phone (just as we have been doing with workers in Europe and Asia), encouraging them to multiply the Kingdom.

Please pray for us in this big move, and that our presence in Europe will be strategic and effective.
